The judge sentenced her to four years, with credit for time served and good behavior. So a few weeks more and she will be out. "Free." If she did not kill her daughter, she has to live with the death of her daughter for the rest of her life. If she did kill her daughter, she probably can move past it. But either way, the public is not happy and I hope that none of them do anything rash.
I read this article about a woman, juror #3, and it said that the jury wanted the evidence to point towards a guilty Casey, but it just wasn't there. Probably one of the truest statements we will ever get from the jury and I think this is how the court of the public opinion feels. Except for the whole part where they were willing to call Casey guilty simply because they needed/wanted it. I hope statements like these(from the jury) will help placate the public. Because regardless of what they believe Casey got away with here, it is no reason to threaten the jurors or the Anthony family. We have law for a reason.
